VANDAS: Air-layering
Cut around the stem into live tissue; dust with Rootone, and place wet sphagnum over it, cover with polyethylene and secure with elastic bands; wait till roots are 1.5 inches, cut off and pot. F70-117

During rainy weather in Florida additional protection is advised; deposit a small teaspoonful of Captan in the uppermost leaf axils and the crown; with each watering or rain a deposit of Captan will be washed down and protect susceptible points. F76-134
